The universe is like a mirror. Say a kind word into a mirror, and it will say the same back to you. Curse into the mirror, and the image curses back.

The Creator doesn’t inflict punishment or stand in judgment of anyone. It is our own actions that rebound into our lives like reflections bouncing back from a cosmic mirror.

Smile at the world today, and the world will smile back at you.

No matter where we have been, and no matter what we might have done in the past, it is a God-given gift that we can change. We can become the person we have always dreamed of being!

In Our Own Way

The only thing that blocks us from receiving all the abundance we’re destined for is ourselves. We simply get in our own way.

Unfortunately, our blockages are often our blind spots, and we don’t see the ways in which we prevent ourselves from having it all. This is why it’s good to ask someone on the outside looking in.

Ask a trustworthy friend what he or she sees. It will go a long way in breaking your ego, while giving you some suggestions on how to get out of your own way.

Good morning God, 

As I awaken this morning, I know that the perfect peace and abundance of God is with me.

I know that all I need is right here and all I need do is to reach out and grab hold of it today. 

I am now aware of the abundance of Love that surrounds me. 

As I get back on the path today, I claim an abundant life of peace and joy.

I choose to focus on the many things in my life that are going as I desire and are a delight.

I know that these things are many and I raise my vibrational level by focusing on the abundance of good in my life. 

This only attracts more abundance and other goodness into my life. 

I am grateful to know that as I focus on abun- dance that more abundance is guaranteed to show up. 

I am thankful for this knowledge and wisdom and call forth more of it into my life. 

My gratitude runs deep for I know that my life is growing in magnificent and prosperous ways.

The year that seemed the worst, brought me the closest to God.

The month I had more bills than money, a way was created beyond what I could see.

The week I told myself I couldn't make it, Grace carried me.

On the day I failed to remember Whose I was, Goodness affirmed me.

In the hour I was in need the most, Mercy was available to me.

The moment I began to worry about how it would happen, it was already done. Thank God.

In the second I began to doubt Love; affection was showered upon me by "Angels."

God is my very present help at the time of every need.

There is great power in choosing to be happy for another person’s good fortune.

Especially when it’s most difficult for us – like when we struggle at work but someone else gets the promotion, or when a person gets engaged but we’re still alone.

If we subscribe to the spiritual belief that we are all one, then their blessing is our own. It is our ego that wants to keep us fragmented from one another, causing emotions of jealousy, envy and even anger.

When we make the effort to be happy for another's blessing, something amazing happens. We remove the block that kept our own fulfillment from manifesting, and we can now attract the very thing that we desire.

Imagine a team is presented with a Super Bowl trophy before they even step foot on the field.

Because they didn’t get to play the game, the trophy has little value for them. However, that same exact trophy would have had the teammates jumping with joy had they actually earned it.

The Love We Seek

We often search outside of ourselves for the love that already exists within us.  And, in our seeking, we place responsibility and blame onto others when they don't show up and respond to us in the way that we think they should.  We have the power of free will and of choice that is our divine birthright.  In that, we get to choose to be the love that we are seeking. 

Love is the Law.  Love is the essence, energy and presence of God in and throughout every living thing.  Love is established and maintained through- out life by its presence in, practice of and promotion by everything created in its likeness.  We are created in the image and likeness of God (Love).

The greatest expression and experience of love results from the development of a consciousness of God, living in a state of God-likeness, and seeing or calling forth the God-likeness in everyone else.

Day 7

Closure

The self imposed seven day mind de clutter exercise, I decided to take a different approach this New Year, instead of making resolutions and hoping to fulfill and realize them I opted to do an input output exercise with my mind.

I have documented my Journey from Jan 1 to 7, during those few days I targeted the most important aspect of myself that I wish to acknowledge.  I look at self, love, happiness, forgiveness, passion and purpose and closure.

Whilst the exercise allowed me to focus on the positive me, it also allows me to center and balance myself by removing old preconceive thoughts and action that no longer served my development. 

I am grateful for each new day, a day that I have never seen before.  Another opportunity to chart a new direction, another day to give thanks and praise and fulfill thy holy will.

Passion and Purpose

Today I reflected on the word passion and purpose, and what those words really meant to me.  Passion and Purpose for me is a revelation of my true self, a divine calling of what I was destined to become, it is a “must be” outcome, no matter the road traveled, situations or losses that brought me to the point of passion and purpose, it is the acceptance of it and moving forward with that knowledge that truly will shape my destiny.

Therefore with passion and purpose, I must acknowledge my life coach, Mindful Desires, I am connecting my dots.

Day 5

Let Love Rule, love of self and love for mankind.

Radical Forgiveness,

Today I am simply learning to let go and accept that everything so far is part of a greater picture, and that my every experience is a learning opportunity for me to get stronger, wiser and through it all I am learning to be patient with the universe whilst it reveal itself to me.

Radical Forgiveness another step in my mind cleansing process.... 

Day 3

Meditation........

"Stay in tune with your spirit. Be calm and think. Listen to your inner voice. Anticipate and plan. Take 100% responsibility for your life. Lean into your struggles. Act with courage. Maintain an open mind. Practice kindness and compassion. Keep your promises. Forgive, let go, and move forward. This is how you get from where you are to where you want to be. I've learned these concepts gradually over the last couple of years. Together they have helped me live a life of purpose. Had I understood these things 10 years ago, I could have avoided quite a bit of confusion and grief. My hope is that they help you hurdle over some of the barriers I stumbled into on the road of life."

All about being real for me, be who you are...

I have the power, the power lies within……..

Day 1 and Day 2

Once again, I am embarking on a New Year, new experiences and another opportunity to renew and reshape my mind.

I have taken the bold step, to apply the first seven days of this New Year as a spiritual cleansing application to my soul.

Jan 1, 2013, the day I cried……I didn’t cry because I was sad, I cried because I wanted my soul to release all the toxic energy it had stored in all of 2012.  I cried for all the time wasted not forgiving and learning to live more and love more.  I cried because I was happy, I had now come to a point of reckoning and understanding, learning that to shape the mind and feed it with positive energy requires commitment and dedication.

Jan 2, 2013, the day I prayed, I am opening myself to the divine consciousness, I am applying a prayerful thought in everything, I am trusting that the universe will reward me for all that I have done.  I am learning to trust in a greater energy than myself, I am praying for faith and determination to change the things that are a roadblock to my development.  I am praying for the peace in humanity, I am praying for the homeless, I am praying for the motherless….I am praying for blessing and healing for all.
